Tras varias semanas de trabajo, aquí llega la colección de bolsos Barcelona Beach de Romero i Juaneta.

After  work, here comes the bag collection Barcelona Beach by Romero i Juaneta.

El interior es de tela, seleccionada con mucho mimo.

The interior is cloth, selected with love.

Las medidas son de 36cm (alto) x 22 cm (diámetro).

Dimensions are 36cm (tall) x 22cm (wide).

El asa es sintética. No utilizo piel por respeto a los animales.

The handle is synthetic. I don't use leather of respect to animals.

Os presento a Julia, que ha nacido como resultado de jugar con lana, tela, fieltro y bordado.

I introduce you to Julia. She´s the doll with wool, fabric, felt and embroidery.

Amigos de fieltro

Hoy os muestro cómo hacer unos bonitos muñecos de fieltro, a elegir; perro o gato, otra de las cosas que enseña a hacer la enciclopedia de las artes creativas de la que os hablé hace poco. Los animalitos que quedan son estos (o no, puedes usarlo como inspiración y crear algo diferente solo con cambiar los colores).

Today I show you how to make a beautiful felt dolls; dog or cat, one of the things taught to do the book of crafts which I spoke recently. The little animals are these (or not, you can use it as inspiration and create something different just changing colors).

Lo primero de todo aquí os dejo los patrones; imprímelo, cálcalo sobre el fieltro del color que quieras y recorta. Según la parte del cuerpo que sea tendrás que hacerlo varias veces, la foto lo indica. Marca las pinzas en cada parte lateral del cuerpo (las pinzas son las líneas discontinuas).

First of all here are the patterns; print it, trace it on the felt with the color that you want and cut it. There´re body parts that you have to cut several times, the picture indicates this. Trace the lines marks on each side of the body.

Cose las pinzas por el revés.

Sew the lines marks on the back.

Junta las dos piezas laterales del cuerpo, desde A hasta B, por el revés y cóselas con pequeñas puntadas.

Put the two lateral pieces of the body, from A to B, at the back and sew them with small stitches.

Junta y cose las piezas de la parte inferior del cuerpo a los laterales, uniendo los puntos A y C. Deja abierta la parte inferior del futuro muñeco, entre B y C.

 Sew parts of the lower body to the sides, joining the points A and C. Leaves open the bottom of future doll, between B and C.

Dobla el rabo por la mitad, revés con revés. Júntalo y cóselo por el borde largo. Rellénalo (con guata, por ejemplo).

Fold the tail in half, back to back. Stick it and sew it along the long side. Fill it up.

Rellena el cuerpo.

Fill the body up.

 Cose el rabito en el punto B del cuerpo. Si es necesario, rellena más el cuerpo. Después cose la abertura.

Sew the tail at point B of the body. If necessary, fills the body up more. Then sew the opening.

Corta círculos de fieltro para nariz y ojos, en el caso del perro. En el gato la nariz córtala casi con forma de corazón. Semicírculos para los párpados en ambos casos. Pégalos (en el gato después de pegar o coser unas cuantas cerdas de escoba como bigote).

Cut circles of felt for eyes and nose for the dog. For the cat, cut the nose with a heart shape. Semicircles for eyelids. Glue (in the cat after pasting or sewing a straws as mustache).

En el perro, cose las orejas en la cabeza, colocándolas sobre la costura central. Dobla cada oreja hacia delante y asegura el pliegue con unas gotas de pegamento.

With the dog, sew the ears on the head, puting them on the center seam. Fold each ear forward and secure the fold with a few drops of glue.

En el gato, cóselas directamente un poco más arriba de los ojos.

With the cat, sew them directly just above the eyes.

La moda nos influye y modifica nuestros gustos, de eso no hay duda, pero al margen de eso hay una estética que siempre me ha gustado por encima de todo y esa es la de los 70'. Aquí os dejo con algunas fotos para que os deleitéis y los blogs en las que aparecen para que paséis un buen rato.

Esta semana estoy metida de lleno en la creación de unos bolsos que espero enseñaros muy pronto. Disfruto del sol mientras trabajo junto al balcón.

Cómics de Salón

Este fin de semana es el Salón Internacional del Cómic de Barcelona, así que aprovechando que vivo aquí he decidido pasarme. Siempre lo había visto por la TV y la verdad es que me alucinaba bastante.

This weekend is the Saló Internacional del Còmic de Barcelona, so I live here I decided to go. I had always seen on TV and it seemed incredible.
