Little boxes

Como ya os comenté, hace un tiempo me apunté a clases de cerámica y aún no os había enseñado mi árbol-autorretrato terminado. Pues aquí está todo coloreado.

A few months ago I went to ceramic workshop and I hadn´t show you my tree self-portrait. Well, here is all colored.

Aún no le he encontrado ninguna utilidad, aunque bien pensado ¿por qué ha de tenerla? Así puedo imaginar lo que quiera, de lo contrario es muy posible que termine viendo una sola cosa.

I haven´t given any useful, but well thought, why have to have it? So I can imagine what I want, otherwise I´ll see only one thing.

Las vueltas que dan las cosas. Esto en un inicio iba a ser una maceta. Pasé un tiempo sin ir a cerámica y el barro se secó, por lo que no pude continuar con esa idea. 

This was going to be a pot. I spent some time without going to ceramic workshop and the clay dried, so I couldn´t continue with that idea.

Decidí entonces convertirla en una sopera, que resultó ser muy pequeña... así que finalmente será una cajita para caramelos. Me gusta la idea de que nada es inamovible, es más interesante y todo tiene más posiblidades :O)

I decided to turn it into a tureen, but was very small... so finally will be a box for candy. I like the idea that nothing is fixed, everything is more interesting and has more possibilities :O)

One, two... three

Bueno, aquí estoy de nuevo. Tras semanas en las que no me apetecía coger ninguna lana ni tela entre mis manos, ya vuelvo. Por supuesto hay una razón para ésto y es que en unos meses seremos tres. Ahora miro patrones de petos diminutos, pantaloncitos, sonajeros y demás, parece que mi mundo está cambiando poco a poco y me gusta. Por supuesto estoy intentando retomar los bolsos, broches y algunas otras cosas que tengo en la cabeza, pero me llevará su tiempo.

Well, here I am. After weeks in which I didn´t want crochet or sew I´m back again. Of course, there´s a reason for this; in a few months there will be three. Now I look tiny bibs patterns, shorts, rattles and others, my world is slowly changing and I like it. Of course I'm trying to make bags, brooches and some other things I´m thinking about, but I need time.

Este saquito de dormir lo encontré en un libro que hace ya un tiempo compré en una tienda del barrio de Gracia, un libro de Mis Labores de 1979. Mira tu por donde trae esta joyita ;O)

I found this sleeping bag on a book that I bought some time ago at a store in the neighborhood of Gracia, a 1979 book. Brings this little jewel ;O)

Y viajando a tiempos más actuales, también me he decidido a hacer otras cosas, para ello el libro de Lotta Jansdotter me viene muy bien.

And traveling to the present, I have decided to do other things too, Lotta Jansdotter's book has interesting and beauty things.

Bueno, espero pasarme más a menudo por aquí, de hecho tengo un bolso de nuevos colores que os quiero enseñar, espero poder hacerle pronto las fotos y subirlo a la tienda, que el verano ya está aquí!!

Aquí os presento como es debido a estos divertidos insectos bordados. Como ya os enseñé el otro día son una libélula, una mosca y una abeja.

Dos de ellos ya están en la tienda.

Últimamente no paran de revolotear por casa, están deseando volar bajo el sol ahora que ya parece que ha llegado. Espero que os gusten.

Tengo pendientes la fotos del Fantastic Handmade Market, en cuanto las tenga preparadas las subo.

Here I show you again and well these fun embroidered insects. They are a dragonfly, a fly and a bee.

Two of them are in the store.

They're fluttering at home all the day, they want to fly under the sun. Hope you like them.

Bólidos

Con la llegada de la primavera (aunque estos días no lo parezca) han empezado a llegar algunos insectos. Concretamente una abeja, una mosca y una libélula. Son bólidos. Les gusta posarse en las camisas floreadas y dar un toque de color allá por donde pasan.

Están bordados a mano y tienen alas con las que pueden acompañarte a donde vayas.

El próximo sábado estarán haciéndome compañía en el Fantastic Handmade Market.

With arriving of the spring (these days it doesn´t seem) have started to get some insects. Specifically a bee, a fly and a dragonfly. They like to perch on the flowered shirts and give them color.


They are hand embroidered and have wings, so they can stay with you wherever you go.

Next Saturday will be in the Fantastic Handmade Market.

New York gifts

Siento no haberme pasado por aquí durante todas estas semanas, han sido un poco extrañas para mi, pero ya estoy de vuelta :O)

Una amiga se fue un par de meses a Nueva York y claro, le hice unos encarguitos. Aquí os lo enseño todo; telas super guapas, cintra métrica espectacular y la joya de la corona, el patrón de una falda que me encanta. Espero que algún día sea yo la que esté por allí...

Sorry for not being here for all these weeks, they have been a bit strange for me, but I'm back :O)

A friend went to New York two months and of course, I made her a few orders. Here I'll show you everything; beautiful fabrics, spectacular tape and the jewel, a skirt pattern that I love. I hope to be there  someday...

Sunlight

Este fin de semana, tras varios días lluviosos, salieron al fin los primero rayos de sol, así que nos hicimos un bocadillo, cogimos las bicis y fuímos a la playa.

This weekend, after rainy days, came the first sunlight, so we did a snack, we took our bikes and went to the beach.

Me gusta ésto de tirarte en un parque o en la playa con un tapper o bocata y disfrutar de las vistas.

I like being in a park or on the beach with a tapper or sandwich and enjoy the views.

Y ésto solo acaba de empezar...

Wall clock dolls workshop

El sábado pasado, entre día lluvioso y día lluvioso, hice un taller de muñecos relojes de pared con Misako Mimoko.

Last Saturday, I made a wall clock dolls workshop with Misako Mimoko.

La verdad es que disfruté un montón, bueno todas lo hicimos.

I enjoyed a lot, well we all did it.

Pasamos la mañana entre telas, hilos y lanas,

All morning between fabrics, yarns and wool,
